News Coordinator

KZFR 90.1 FM is seeking a News Coordinator to lead the editorial direction and weekly workflow of Zephyr News, KZFR’s weekly local news program.

The News Coordinator is responsible for setting coverage priorities, assigning and editing stories, coordinating deadlines, and developing the final program lineup. The position works closely with the News Producer, interns, volunteers, and community partners to make sure stories are completed on time, coverage is coordinated, and the weekly program comes together smoothly.

The News Coordinator also contributes original reporting as needed and has editorial control over Zephyr News.
