Chicoan Recalls Xenophobia of Her Childhood

KZFR programmer Diana Suzuki (One Wold Music Host) recently wrote an insightful article for Chico Sol regarding the hardships her elders endured in detention camps and the xenophobia she experienced after WWll... "I was the first Japanese-American student in my elementary school and was traumatized by the subtle and not-so-subtle prejudice of being seen as a postwar “enemy race.”
