Gratitude to Our Non-Profit Volunteers

Thank you to everyone who volunteered during KZFR's Fall 2017 pledge drive. We absolutely could NOT staff a successful pledge drive without you!

Much gratitude goes to the 22 local non-profit organizations who volunteered to staff our phones during the pledge drive. WOW! 22! We appreciate your volunteer time and efforts on behalf of community radio.

The following 4 went above and beyond by staffing multiple shifts...

Catalyst Domestic Violence Services
"Committed to serving the needs of all victims of domestic violence and their children regardless of ethnicity, citizenship, language, religion, physical disabilities, sexual orientation, gender identity or HIV status."

Idea Fab Labs Chico
"Meet and collaborate with people who are interested in electronics, programming and future-art. Idea Fab Labs is an open source, do-it-yourself culture! We offer membership usage of various digital fabrication tools and traditional tools. We facilitate educational classes and workshops including weekly scheduled Safety and Basic Use classes as well as a rotating catalog of offerings on more advanced and specialized topics, including guest teachers."

Chico Housing Action Team
"The mission of the CHAT is to ensure that every person in our community has access to fair and adequate shelter and sanitation."

Paradise Community Guilds
"Be the community we want to live in! We foster community by nurturing creativity, practicing stewardship of Nature, and promoting values of sustainability." (Norton Buffalo Hall)
