Become a Master Gardener

Love gardening and willing to share your skills with others? Become a Butte County Master Gardener Volunteer. After an orientation and a 19 week training program, you’ll dispense helpful advice and tips through the garden hotline, educational workshops and community outreach. The program is operated by the University of California Cooperative Extension. An orientation, open to Butte County residents only is scheduled for Wednesday from 4-5 p.m. at the Butte County Library’s Gridley Branch, 229 Spruce Street in Gridley.
