CHICO, CA - The Chico Cioppino Feed Luncheon & Auction fundraiser will be
held on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 11:00 AM -2:30 PM at Northgate Aviation
Chico Jet Center Hangar, 109 Convair Ave. "Every Dish Fulfills a Wish" is
the theme of this inaugural event that will feature an entertaining and
delicious cioppino lunch & beverages served in a WWII era airplane hangar.
Proceeds from this year's event, which is being put on by the Chico
Community Benefit Fundraisers and the Butte Agriculture Foundation, will
benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of the North Valley. Individual tickets are
$100 each with advance purchase only and are available at Diamond W Western
Wear, Boys & Girls Clubs of the North Valley, and BidCal.com.
Every sponsorship and ticket sold will help the Boys & Girls Club purchase a
new vehicle to replace their bus. Each day, 48 kids rely on this bus to
transport them to the Club where they receive life-changing programs and
services. The bus also provides hundreds of Club members with access to
field trips and experiences throughout the community.
"We are deeply honored to have been selected as the recipient this year and
want to help make this a great event to benefit local kids," said Rashell
Brobst, CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the North Valley. "We would like to
express our sincere appreciation to the Chico Cioppinno Feed Committee, Rob
and Kari Ramay, and all that have contributed to make this successful."
