Chico Bicycle Music Festival

Wrapping up National Bike Month, the 6th annual Chico Bicycle Music Festival will ride through Chico from noon till dark on Saturday. This non-profit event, envisioned to promote human-scale transportation and local musical talent, will start at Camellia Way Park. The event will feature free Bike Valet service offered by sponsor ChicoVelo as well as free games and activities presented by several local organizations including seed ball-making with Cultivating Communities and upcycled bicycle crafts with Butte Environmental Council.

Over thirty 5th grade students from Chico Country Day School were on Ecotopia recently talking about their work fundraising for Walk 4 Water, a project that promotes clean water infrastructure and new wells in Uganda.
