3 Amazing Volunteers

KZFR is people powered community radio! It takes about 120 volunteers to bring you all of your favorite locally produced programs.

Each year we like to honor a volunteer who has gone above & beyond to help keep the Mighty Zephyr going strong. We have so many amazing volunteers we couldn't narrow it down to just one this year so we honored 2 programmers Mark Gray & Amaya Taylor plus a board member Mary Tribbey!

Mark Gray - Long time volunteer programmer, Mark has sat on many of our committees over the years. He is currently a member of our Board of Directors & the Fundraising Committee. You may recognize him as a co-host of our popular Saturday show "All Mixed Up".

Amaya Taylor - New volunteer programmer Amaya won the "Rising Star" award this year for all of the extra volunteer time she has given helping with community outreach, DJing at KZFR's Touch of Chico and willingness to help with a variety of special projects like Love Is On The Air. You can catch her new show "Groovez & Moodz" on alternating Fridays.

Mary Tribbey - Long time listener and support of KZFR, Mary has volunteered many hours not just as a Board Member but also on the Fundraising Committee, during pledge drives and as a driving force on our Strategic Planning Committee. Mary's hard work and insights will guide us into a bright future.

We thank them and all of our amazing volunteers for their dedication to community radio!
