UPDATE (3/20/2020): Press Release Regarding COVID-19 and KZFR

KZFR cares about our community and is aware of the growing concerns surrounding COVID-19. KZFR will continue to serve the community in our best ability during this time of uncertainty.

We respect the mandate made by Gov. Newsom and out of an abundance of caution for our listeners KZFR may postpone upcoming events. Please, visit our Events Page for details on which shows have been postponed and how refunds are being handled.

The KZFR Office will be closed March 20th through March 31st. All training, meetings, recording sessions, and orientations have been postponed until a later determined time. Our Programmers are advised to not have in-studio guests and in-studio performances. Our Programmers have also been instructed to avoid doing their shows should they feel ill or wish to practice self-quarantining/ 

Event Cancellations and Postponements

As of March 19th, 2020, KZFR has determined to postpone the following events:

- 3/26 Tim Bluhm at the Chico Women's Club

- 4/19 Todd Snider at Paradise Performing Arts Center

- 4/24 Full Moonalice at the Chico Women's Club

- 4/30 Tony Furtado at the Chico Women's Club 

- 5/15 Rita Hosking at the Chico Women's Club

As more information is available to Staff and the Board of Directors decisions will be made about upcoming Fundraisers and community outreach events.

Tickets purchased using a debit or credit card will be refunded (this includes BrownPaperTicket & local ticket sales). Tickets purchased with cash at the KZFR Office or Chico Paper Company can be refunded at the KZFR Office.
