The City of Chico Arts Commission will present three Mayor’s Awards for Achievement in the Arts in memory of Joseph Kaveney on Tuesday October 2 at 6:30pm as part of the Chico Artoberfest 2012 and the Arts and Humanities Month Celebration. Those selected for the 17th Annual Mayors Awards for Achievement in the Arts are: ChicoArtCenter, Maria Phillips, and Thomasin Saze. Mayor Ann Schwab will presen the awards at the beginning of the regular City Council meeting held in the Council Chamber 421 Main Street.
