Butte County Literary Services hosts a training for volunteers willing to tutor children kindergarten through sixth grade in reading or mathematics an hour or two a week. The orientation and training is scheduled for Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Oroville branch of the Butte County Library. For more information call 538-7198
