Our theme tonight is shelter now and the viability of tent cities as a means to provide safe and secure shelter for people experiencing homelessness. We start the show by reading an Enterprise Record Letter to the Editor by Patrick Newman titled "What Does Chico Really Do For Homeless People?, followed by an interview with Mama Rose Adams, a homeless woman who was a resident at "The Farm", a tent city in south Chico, that was demolished and vacated via a code-enforcement eviction on 2/24.
Our main feature is a twelve-minute interview with Trillium Shannon, co-founder and active board member at Right 2 Dream Too, a tent city community in Downtown Portland. We end the show with a studio discussion with Robert Trausch, co-founder and active board member at CHAT - Chico Housing Action Team
