February 4, 2021 -- Imagining Community premiers our 2021 series on water, Eric Chisler on wellness movement culture and Kizmo Macoubrie on her personal journey to The Triumph of Joy

"There are really cool ecosystems around water. Where we're standing right now there are birds all around us. You feel very much immersed in the environment around you, which is a cool thing that water is able to bring about." -- Dennis Finger

The debut of a year long Imagining Community series on water with a field interview adjacent to Big Chico Creek in Upper Bidwell Park with Dennis Finger, a molecular environmental biologist and scientific aid with the California Department of Water Resources. Dennis has seen a lot during his 18-months in Butte County including an eye to eye encounter with a tree climbing bear, and viewing 180 migrating bald eagles in just a few hours time near Lake Oroville!

We're also debuting a series on personal and group wellness for activists and advocates featuring a porch session with farmer and cultural activist Eric Chisler discussing our deeply rooted need to belong within healthy and supportive group dynamics.

We close the hour with this months The Triumph of Joy segment featuring Kizmo Macoubrie, writer, voice over artist and video producer who shares what joy means to her, and how she actuates happiness through a book she is writing.
