Youth members of the Boys & Girls Club of the North Valley recently toured the station. Our GM gave them a behind the scenes look at an independent, nonprofit community radio station.
They got to see where the magic happens and he talked about how our DJs are dedicated volunteers who are passionate about their shows, advice on how to apply for the free training to get your own show on KZFR & a summary of how radio waves are captured and sent to our transmitting tower above Magalia. They asked some very interesting questions as well. The youth of our community are inspiring.
