Safe Space Needs Volunteers

The Chico Housing Action Team's SAFE SPACE Needs Volunteers

Safe Space Winter Shelter (SSWS) is a temporary low-barrier shelter. It compliments local area shelter services that are at capacity during the wet, rainy winter season. SSWS helps by providing a warm meal and a safe place to sleep for the night. This project is alive by the goodwill of local organizations offering their space as a 'host site' and an army of dedicated volunteers and they need your help this winter!
