American Pastimes

This week on American Pastimes we'll feature bluegrass & string music from California's own Vern Williams Band, Old & in the Way, David Grisman & Marc Silber and Todd Phillips. Well known singer-songwriters Merle Haggard and Steve Young and from Tennessee, lesser known Marilyn Duncan. Some Texas story-telling from Dave Insley's Careless Smokers and the old-time sound of The Blue Sky Boys.  Towards the end  we'll hear a new band from North Carolina called the Scatterlings, and  we book-end the show with the Freight Hoppers!
