Help us prove to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting that your community radio station is a valuable asset in the North State by donating this week!

KZFR is an essential, independent source of news and cultural content for the communities of the North State.

We keep you informed with the everyday happenings within our community. KZFR’s newest segment, the ‘Local Updates’ informs you local elections for City Council and County Supervisors, the Tuscan Water District, Chico city cannabis regulations, updates from the Butte County Public Health Department, and wildfires. Through it all KZFR remains an essential, steady, and joyful part of our lives.

Listener support has been essential in KZFR’s success over the past 32 years. In addition to listener support, KZFR receives a large portion of our operating budget as a Community Service Grant from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting

"My heart breaks as I write this, but the station is at risk of losing this vital CPB grant without your support as we near a critical funding deadline on June 30, the close of our fiscal year." - Grant C. Parks, KZFR GM

Please, donate this week during our Silent Drive. Your contribution will prove to the CPB that you believe KZFR Community Radio is a valuable asset in the North State.

Hit that Donate Tab, text PLEDGEKZFR to 44321 or find us on Venmo @kzfr901 Thank you for your support.

Tune in Thurs 12/19 @ 5pm Radio Shorts collaboration between KZFR, the Brain Injury Coalition, and graduates from Chico State’s Communication Sciences & Disorders program.
