To put it simply, Alexander David Kuykendall has radio in his blood. It has been claimed that he came into this world with a ham radio in one hand and a Wile E. Coyote-esque sign that said “I love radio” in the other. In fact, major publications have reported that when his mother tried to take away his radio equipment, he began climbing transmitters to beam radio waves directly into his body “straight from the source” (hence, the radio in the blood). Alex himself has maintained that when he realized he was “too attractive”, he administered plastic surgery on himself in an attempt to “have a face for radio”. Nevertheless, he has a burning passion for the music of yesteryear and a love for his community, which brought him to KZFR.
