City of Chico Animal Services is holding a volunteer orientation for anyone wanting to volunteer for the Chico Animal Shelter. Orientations will be held at the Chico Branch of the Butte County Library from 2:30 – 3:30 PM. Volunteers are especially needed as adoption counselors, for Foster Homes/Adoption Ambassadors, and to work with dogs needing behavioral modification.
