KZFR depends on Listener Pledges in order to pay for things like replacing outdated or broken equipment, modernizing or expanding its facilities, as well as meeting its daily operations budget. A few times each year, KZFR hosts its on-air Pledge Drives. Your Listener's Pledges help keep KZFR healthy and growing. Pledge early and often!

KZFR Community Radio 90.1 FM has a unique opportunity for your business!

KZFR’s programming is diverse, which gives you the opportunity to reach the specific audience you desire.

Who’s listening? Approximately 20,000 people from Northern Sacramento to Red Bluff. Approximately 69% are between 25 and 54 years of age, and 50% are age 35 to 54. 58% have at least a college degree. 30% of community radio listeners reported that in work related or personal purchases, they have chosen a particular product or service because the supplier supported community radio.

Volunteering at KZFR

"Commitment is what transforms a promise into reality. It is the words that speak boldly of your intent. And the actions which speak louder that the words. It is making the time when there is none. Coming through time after time, year after year after year. Commitment is the stuff character is made of; the power to change the face of things. It is the daily triumph of integrity over skepticism." This is the stuff volunteers are made of.

KZFR is a nonprofit organization dependent on the generous volunteer hours received from KZFR programmers as well as the general public. Volunteers complete many functions that assist in maintaining the many operations at KZFR. Volunteers host community events, catalog music, maintain office files, run CD/tapes and much much more.
