Historic Preservation Workshops

    On Thursday, October 25, 2012 the City of Oroville’s Planning and Development Services Department and the California State Office of Historic Preservation is sponsoring an informative workshop about historic preservation of buildings, districts and landscapes.

    The workshop will be a valuable resource for those involved in the construction trade, planning personnel, real estate professionals, owners of historic homes and others interested in historic buildings or historic preservation.

    The presenters include a Senior Restoration Architect and two State Historians. The workshop will be held in the Oroville City Council Chambers, 1735 Montgomery Street from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 25, 2012, a registration fee of $20.00 includes lunch, snacks and program materials. The workshop is limited to 52 attendees. Those planning on attending should contact Luis Topete, by October 23rd, at the City of Oroville (530) 538-2408 for a reservation.
