    ANTI-OPPRESSION AND WHITE PRIVLEGE TRAINING WORKSHOP

    The workshop starts at 9:30 am with a light breakfast and goes until 4 pm. There will be group discussions, and individual work. Some topics that will be included are: health disparities, mass incarceration, environmental justice, voting rights, tips to engage in ally work, and strategies for incorporating anti-oppression into the consciousness of your everyday life. Please bring a paper bag lunch. Space is limited. We would greatly appreciate registering only if you can make the entire day.

    Suggested donation of $10, no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

    Workshop will be facilitated by Amber Ellis, President of the Black Student Union at Butte Community College, and Ambrosia Krinsky. Assistant to the Director at the Chico Peace & Justice Center.
