Suicide Prevention Workshop Friday, March 1, 8:30-4:30 Black Box Theater, Butte College The workshop will be divided into three sections featuring guest speakers sharing personal accounts, trends in suicide prevention and ways to be proactive about those suffering from suicidal thoughts. Guest speaker Dan Strauss, founder of the Alex Project, an advocacy in promoting text messaging resources to crisis centers, will close the summit. Reservations are required. Care Enough to Act provides hope and care for people affected by suicide in order to reduce suicide attempts and deaths due to suicide in the Butte County region.
